MVRDV’s Winy Maas to curate biennale on threatened Van Gogh landscapes

Set to launch in 2025, the event will draw attention to the Brabant landscapes in the Netherlands which featured in many Vincent Van Gogh paintings more than a hundred years ago and are now under threat from climate change. MVRDV founding partner Winy Maas has been selected as curator for the Van Gogh Homeland Biennale.

Trahan Architects designs USA pavilion with suspended cube for Expo 2025 Osaka

New Orleans architecture studio Trahan Architects has designed the USA pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka , which will include a suspended cube surrounded by LED screens showing American landscapes. Images of US urban and natural landscapes will be displayed on the LED screens, which will be reflected onto the cube.
