From 1891 to 1993 the Columbia Congregational Church called this site home, drawing in residents to an entirely undeveloped Rainier Valley. After 1993, the building changed hands several times before falling vacant in 2012. We worked closely with the client to navigate each successfully.

Nestron was started in 2012 by Lawrence Xu, who dreamt of leveraging cutting-edge technology to transform the construction industry. Ten years in, the company now produces eight steel-frame models that roll off the factory floor "ready to live in, just as a car that leaves the manufacturing site is ready to drive," says Xu.

In 2012 they launched Connect Homes with fifteen designs as part of its original Design Series. Today, our most exciting projects are when a client’s house looks like a beautiful, completed midcentury steel-and-glass home from the moment it’s craned on site.

Replacing an existing beach house on the site dating back to the 1970s, Coral Pavilion provides a space for the client's family and friends to gather during day trips, with a swimming pool and rooftop terrace for sunbathing alongside the sea. Tosin Oshinowo founded CmDesign Atelier in 2012.

Shortly after completing the plan, I launched Living Well in Westchester and wrote consistently until 2012 when I shifted my focus here to Entrepreneur Architect. I posted randomly whenever I found something worth saving and had no intent to develop the site into anything more. The more we share, the more we all succeed.
