Following years of decline, property developer Urban Splash won a contract to renovate it in 2004. The project aims to restore the "original beauty" of the brutalist housing estate. It will be the final stage of redevelopment at the brutalist Grade II*-listed complex, which has been underway since 2004, led by developer Urban Splash. It began falling into a state of decline in the 1980s and its overhaul began in 2004 when Urban Splash won a contract to renovate it.
