Developed by MAD with the China Academy of Building Research (CASR) for Cuntan Port on the Yangtze River, the scheme marries an international cruise terminal with commercial spaces. Dubbed Yangtze River Skywalk, these structures will be linked by skybridges and contain 50,000 square metres of commercial space such as shops and restaurants.

Inside, the MoLo will include 3,000 square metres of commercial space on the ground floor, alongside laboratories, a supermarket and offices. OMA and Laboratorio Permanente are working on a masterplan involving the transformation of two abandoned goods yards into public parks. It will feature staircases and greenery on its exterior.

The towers, called One South First and Ten Grand, are located at the historic Domino Sugar Refinery , which opened in 1882 and was shut down in 2004. Masterplanned by SHoP Architects in 2013, the redeveloped site features five buildings, each designed by a different architect. Commercial windows: Schuco.

Dhaka Tower is the first landmark building of this scale in a new commercial district located at the edge of Tejgaon. Earlier buildings include Fondazione Prada in Milan (2018), De Rotterdam (2013), CCTV Headquarters in Beijing (2012), Casa da Música in Porto (2005), and the Seattle Central Library (2004).
